TBS 500 DTG Line 11 Barcelona Metro
The line 11 of the Metro of Barcelona is thanks to the TBS 500 "Driverless" system of Invensys Rail Dimetronic, one of the first Spanish automatic Metropolitan Railways.
This system allows the train to drive through it’s route without the need of having a driver on board. This successful implementation of the TBS 500 "Driverless" system in the Barcelona Metro has meant a major step in the modernization of the Barcelona Metro network, which has become a pioneer in the automation of lines.
The 500 "Driverless" TBS system has been developed by Invensys Rail Dimetronic according to the guidelines of the Cenelec standards.
