Invensys Rail Dimetronic launches its Turkish website
The launch of the Turkish version of the website coincides with the Eurasia Rail Turkey trade show that takes place in Istanbul from March 8th – 10th where the company participates with a stand.
03/07/2012Invensys Rail Dimetronic launches the Turkish version of its corporate website which proves once more its commitment with Turkey. It also reflects increasing activity of the company in the country, where it has offices in Istanbul and Ankara, and where Invensys Rail Dimetronic is carrying out three railway signalling projects.
The launch coincides with Invensys Rail Dimetronic being present at the Eurasia Rail Turkey trade show. This event, in which the company takes part for the second year in a row, is held at the Istanbul Expo Center from March 8thto 10th.
Invensys Rail Dimetronic will be present with a stand (HALL 10, A1a) in which it will showcase its technological innovations for the railway control and traffic management. Besides, next Saturday 10th to 16 h., it will also take part at the railway industry congress that will be help in parallel. Invensys Rail Dimetronic will offer a conference about the signalling technologies applied in the emblematic Marmary project, awarded to the company at the end of 2011.
Invensys Rail Dimetronic’s experience in Turkey
Invensys Rail Dimetronic entered the railway Turkish market in 2008 after the awarding of the contract for the supply and installation of FUTUR 1300Level 1 ERTMS and signalling systems in the High Speed Line between Ankara and Konya.
In January 2010, TCDD trusted again the company for the installation of its FUTUR 2500Level 2 ERTMS system in the same High Speed Line to Konya, which will be the first installation of a Level 2 system in Turkey.
On August 2011, the Prime Minister of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, inaugurated the 212 Km of line between Ankara and Konya, in a trip cruising at 250 Km/h to crush the journey time to one and a half hours.
In November 2011, Invensys Rail Dimetronic has been selected by DLH, the Turkish Directorate of Railways, Harbours and Airports Construction, to provide railway signalling and control technologies for the Gebze-Halkali Commuter Rail line, known as the CR3 Marmaray Project, the only line in the world to be equipped with both ERTMS and CBTC systems.
In January 2012 TCDD awarded Invensys Rail Dimetronic the contract to design, supply, install, test and commission the Signalling, Automatic Train Protection and Telecommunications systems for the Bandirma-Balikesir-Manisa-Menemen line in the Turkish railway network.
Invensys Rail Dimetronic has offices in Ankara and in Istanbul, where a team of up to 100 high qualified professionals (depending on the phase of the project) applies the most advances railway control and signalling technologies to the Turkish railway infrastructures.
